Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
We can send your order anywhere within New Zealand. All our items are Warehouse packed for safe delivery. We ship all products by Track & Trace courier unless otherwise directed. This usually takes between 1 to 5 working days depending on the delivery service in the destination area.
The only exception is with deliveries to Great Barrier Island, if you want goods shipped to Great Barrier Island you should contact us to arrange a collection, or provide us with a local delivery depot.
We normally ship our products within three business days unless requested otherwise. If we are unable to dispatch your order within three business days due to lack of stock or other circumstances we will contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date.
Please check your delivery address carefully as we will not be responsible for delivery to an incorrect address. The customer shall be responsible for the cost to resend a parcel that is returned because of an incorrect address.
RETURNS POLICY
If your order is not received, or if an item arrives damaged or faulty, you must notify The Lighting Centre within 3 days of receiving the goods.
Email us at sales@thelightingcentre.co.nz with your order number and details of the issue.
If your product is damaged or faulty
The following options are available:
- Replacement – If available, we will send a replacement. In some cases, the faulty item may need to be returned to us for testing before a replacement is sent.
- Refund or Credit – If no replacement is available, we will issue a refund or credit for the full purchase price to your nominated bank account.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED DUE TO CHANGE OF MIND ON CERTAIN PRODUCTS, SO PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Special-order items
- Products supplied directly from manufacturers or distributors with no return rights
- Custom, made-to-order, or non-stock items
If you are unsure about a product before purchasing, please email us at sales@thelightingcentre.co.nz, we may be able to offer you extra images or an appro sample service.
Where a product is eligible for a change-of-mind return:
- Return shipping is at the customer’s cost.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
All products — including sale items — are still covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act if they are faulty or not as described.
REFUNDS
Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm approval or rejection of the refund.
Approved refunds are processed to your nominated bank account.
Unless otherwise arranged with The Lighting Centre, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
